With its Red Devonian Sandstone Cliffs and beautiful

beaches our first stop is Sidmouth which is part

of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site

Soak up the atmosphere, relax in a deck chair or take a

stroll around the shops and cafes and enjoy the

seaside experience of times gone by

    After lunch we'll move on to the second seaside town of Budleigh Salterton where you can stroll along the sea front or enjoy
afternoon tea in one of the many cafes

Budleigh Salterton remains one of Devon's most unspoilt and charming towns

Ludlow Market Day

Saturday 9th August

Ludlow and its beautiful castle are perched on a cliff above the picturesque River Teme in south Shropshire, one of the most unspoiled parts of rural England

The town breathes history at every turn, but it's far too

lively to be a museum piece just yet

The town boasts over 500 listed buildings and is a long way

from the North South motorways, a claim almost unique

in the 21st century and one that makes it a very

special place retaining the rural charm

long ago lost to most towns

Ludlow has many 'claims to fame' including the most

Michelin star restuarants in any town outside of

London and one of the best towns to eat in

anywhere in the UK. Not for nothing did

John Betjeman describe Ludlow as

'The most perfect town in England'

Moreton in Marsh Market
& Broadway

A lovely Cotswold town

The coach will leave Bristol City Centre at 9.00am

or you can board earlier at a pick-up point

near where you live

Moreton in Marsh, which has been a traveller's town

 for at least 1700 years and was used as a coaching stop before

the coming of the Oxford to Worcester railway in 1853

There are pubs, inns, tea shops, and restaurants in the town centre and we'll be there in plenty of time for lunch

The high street has many elegant eighteenth century buildings including

the Redesdale Market Hall at the centre of the town

Moreton-in-Marsh was granted its market charter in 1227

and the well known Market is still held every Tuesday

throughout the year

King Charles l is said to have stayed at The White Hart Hotel in 1644

Next we will visit beautiful Broadway.

The pretty High Street is lined with horse chestnut trees and a mixture
of period houses and picturesque honey coloured
Cotswold stone cottages which have lured
visitors for centuries.

Plymouth Harbour Cruise

Wednesday 27th August

We'll arrive at Plymouth's famous Mayflower Steps in time to enjoy lunch

in the Boathouse Cafe, where we've arranged a discount on your

choice of lunch before you board the boat for an hour's cruise

around the harbour. Your boat trip is included in your

booking price. Later you can stroll around the

famous Barbican, once home to pirates,

now the home of Plymouth Gin

and lots of teashops

When Ben Squire started fishing with one boat he could hardly
have imagined how his business would grow to a fleet which
includes six pleasure boats and a harbourside café

Bletchley Park

Thursday 28th August

The coach will leave Bristol City Centre at 9.00am  or

Explore, experience and enjoy the once top-secret world of iconic Codebreaking Huts
and Blocks set within an atmospheric Victorian estate.

Visit the restored Codebreaking Huts 3 and 6, where Enigma messages sent by the German Army and Air Force were decrypted, translated and analysed for vital intelligence.

In these iconic huts, the atmosphere is recreated with rooms dressed to resemble what they once were when Codebreakers worked there. Plus “meet” some of the Codebreakers
and listen to the men and women tell the stories of what happened inside them
through the use of interactive exhibits, including sounds,
projected images and authentic set dressing.

There's so much to see and absorb at Bletchley Park from te office of Alan Turing

to the stunning Mansion house which also has rooms kept as they were during
the 1940's. The exhibitions change through the year but you are sure
to learn much and be fascinated throughout your visit.
